Globe Telecom Inc. unit Asticom Group of Companies is in talks with several investors for possible strategic partnerships, joint ventures and acquisitions to expand its portfolio of businesses.
“A number of private equities have approached us in the past three months and have raised interest. We’re making sure that we find the right strategic partners that will help us grow the business and add value to the solutions we offer to address the needs of our customers,” Mharicar Castillo-Reyes, Asticom president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
Asticom plans to expand its businesses including Fiber Infrastructure and Network Services Inc. (FINSI), Asti Business Services Inc. (ABSI) and BRAD, the on-demand logistics solutions, among others.
FINSI is a local solutions provider for the telecom and technology industries, providing engineering and enablement services.
Reyes noted a lot of potential partnerships across the different companies under Asticom.
