Cebu-based property developer AppleOne Group Inc. has signed an agreement with JW Marriott for the development of the first five-star hotel in Panglao.
JW Marriott Panglao Island Resort & Spa is the third partnership deal of AppleOne with Marriott International, following the successful placement in Cebu of the international brand through the Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort and the Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan.
The agreement was signed by AppleOne president and chief executive officer Ray Manigsaca and his wife and AppleOne co-founder and chairman Venus Manigsaca and : Continent Head, Global Design and vice president (VP) for Interior Design of Marriott International Karen Kim; VP for Hotel Development Asia Pacific, Marriott International Steve Baek in Singapore last June 17.
