AllHome touts balanced product mix

AllHome Corp. said business will be cushioned by its balanced product portfolio from the economic challenges brought by the new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

AllHome earlier reported that profit for the first quarter of the year reached P270.2 million, up 30 percent from P207.1 million last year. Revenues was at P3.4 billion, up 41 percent from P2.4 billion in 2019.

The company is taking advantage of its balance category mix which is comprised of 58 percent soft (furniture, appliances, homeware and linens) and 42 percent hard ( hardware, construction, tiles and sanitary wares) which saw an increase in sales in the first quarter.

The company said appliances contributed almost 40 percent of sales in the second quarter.

With COVID-19 highly affecting the routines of everyday lives, AllHome still view 2020 with optimism as the lockdown eases.
