AllHome Corp. said appliances contributed 40 percent of its sales in the second quarter, according to Camille Villar, AllHome vice chairman.
Villar said sales have improved with shoppers resuming home projects and select businesses started reopening.
Higher sales were noted in refrigerators, freezers for business, do-it-yourself home improvement projects and culinary activities; air conditioners and furniture and equipment for home office and virtual classes.
