AirAsia Philippines is set to increase flights in its domestic routes and resume its international flights this December.
With the expected pent-up demand for air travel, AirAsia said it will ramp up its domestic frequency next month as well as resume its international routes beginning December 4, with a once a week flight to Singapore and twice weekly flight to Hong Kong to service overseas Filipino workers and business travelers.
To date, AirAsia said all its 11 domestic destinations no longer require coronavirus tests for fully vaccinated individuals. These are Puerto Princesa, Caticlan (Boracay), Bohol, Kalibo, Tacloban, Bacolod, Iloilo, General Santos, Cagayan De Oro, Zamboanga and Davao.
Beginning November 16, AirAsia said guests are also no longer required to wear face shield at the airport, inside the aircraft and in all destinations under alert levels 1, 2 and 3, pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases resolution.
