AirAsia Philippines yesterday launched new promo offers that aim to jump-start domestic travel recovery this year.
The airline said it is offering huge discounts on flights, hotels and ancillary products through its “Chinese New Year (CNY) Deals Never Stop Promo” and “2.2 Save Now, Fly Later Sale.”
AirAsia Philippines said it maintains its optimism for growth in the traveling populace this year, a forecast backed by a survey that has shown more Filipinos are confident to travel in the next nine months.
It added the survey has also shown that AirAsia guests stay loyal to the travel company because of the value for money it offers, at 80 percent, and the promos and package deals, at 69 percent.
“As we continue to learn how to better live safely in a pandemic, we see the rise in the confidence for travel among Filipinos. We at AirAsia would like to help more Filipino families and friends to reconnect this year to celebrate milestones and seasons they have missed in recent years. This is why the coverage of flight bookings for our CNY and 2.2 deals goes as far as third quarter,” said Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Philippines spokesperson and head of communications and public affairs.
Guests traveling from January 17 to September 30, 2022, can book their flights and avail of the CNY promo until January 30 to base fares available for as low as P188, while 10 percent may also be slashed off of staycations and hotel stays during the 2.2 sale.
The airline also offers P22 base fare flights during the 2.2 sale from February 2 to 4, with travel period from June 1 to September 30, 2022. – Myla Iglesias
