AirAsia Philippines has ramped up its operations and customer assistance to address the anticipated surge in passenger traffic this Holy Week.

AirAsia Philippines said it is gearing up to welcome an estimated 100,000 guests traveling to destinations outside Metro Manila this Holy Week.

Ricky Isla, AirAsia Philippines chief executive officer, personally inspected check-in counters to ensure operational efficiency and readiness.

Isla said all counters are fully operational, with additional manpower and a standby team deployed to accommodate the expected influx of tourists during this period.

The airline said it also conducts fire drill training among its flight crew every year to ensure their competency and preparedness.

The airline has also established a dedicated customer help desk to provide additional assistance to travelers with rebooking and flight change concerns.

The airline reminds its passengers that the complimentary 7-kilogram hand-carry baggage must only consist of a small bag and/or a laptop bag or a handbag.

The airline also suggests that it would be better to pre-book up to 14 kg cabin baggage should a guest need more baggage space.
