Air-Asia ups frequencies, offers more promotions

Low-cost carrier AirAsia Philippines is ramping up its flight frequencies and promo offerings for international destinations to achieve the over 2.6 million seats sold during the pre-pandemic in 2019.

AirAsia Philippines welcomes the “Ber” months with deals and promos to entice balikbayans, overseas Filipino workers and leisure travelers to explore Asean destinations.

“AirAsia Philippines is positioning itself to once again dominate the Asian market. Our additional flight frequencies and promos are strategically put in place to help achieve our pre-pandemic figure of more than 2.6 million international seats sold. Additional flights and exciting deals are also our way of boosting international tourist arrivals in the Philippines and other Asian countries we fly to, especially now that we have been observing an improved fuel pricing situation,”Steve Dailisan, AirAsia spokesperson and head of communications and public affairs, said in statement.

AirAsia is offering 20 percent discount on Manila to Singapore flights until September 4, 2022, for travels from September 5, in time for the mid-autumn (mooncake) festival, to March 25, 2023.

To sustain its momentum, AirAsia Philippines will be increasing its flights to Denpasar, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand; and Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from three times to seven times weekly by September17.

Manila-Incheon and Cebu-Incheon flights will still continue to fly five times and three times weekly, respectively. Manila-Singapore flights will also remain at four times weekly while flights to HongKong and Canton, China will be serviced every Friday.
