Batangas-based Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company of Manila Inc. (AG&P Industrial) announced that it has delivered modular structures to support the upgrade of an Australian refinery.
In a statement issued Monday, AG&P Industrial said it completed and shipped 18 pre-assembled pipe racks (PAR), 16 pre-assembled units, and 19 pre-assembled support structures for Ampol’s Future Fuels Gasoline Desulphurisation Project at the Lytton Refinery in Brisbane, Queensland.
Alex Gamboa, AG&P Industrial president and managing director of Global Business Development, said the company signed the $46 million contract in the first quarter of 2023.
He added that the final batch of modules sailed from Batangas on July 14, 2025.
AG&P Industrial said it entered into an agreement with Kent PLC to manufacture the process modules, pipe racks, and support structures for Ampol’s major refinery upgrade. The upgrade will enable the facility to meet Euro 6 sulphur emissions standards, which require all fuels in Australia to contain less than 10 parts per million of sulphur by 2025.

AG&P Industrial also highlighted that the project recorded over 2 million safe man-hours with zero lost-time injuries.
