Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) said it grew it first quarter profit to P5.4 billion, up 67 percent from P3.2 billion last year.
Revenues reachedP37.5 billion, up 18 percent from last year’s P31.8 billion.
Megaworld Corp. posted profit of P3.1 billion, up 30 percent. Revenues were at P13.1 billion, as its key business units posted notable year-on-year improvements. Real estate sales hit P8.1 billion, up 36 percent, with reservation sales at P23.2 billion, up 12 percent.
Rentals were at P3.7 billion.
The spirits business under Emperador Inc. posted profit of P2.1 billion, over revenues of P12.3 billion.
The McDonald’s business under Golden Arches Development Corp. posted profit of P258 million, over revenues of P7.2 billion.
The company ended the quarter with 675 McDonald’s stores.
