ALSONS Consolidated Resources Inc. (ACR) said profit in the first nine months of the year hit P604 million, up 20 percent.
No revenue figures were released.
The company in a statement on Monday said its power plants in Zamboanga and Iligan have been providing essential ancillary services to the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP), “helping to ensure power stability and reliability in the region.”
“In May, ACR’s Western Mindanao Power Corp. in Zamboanga received its provisional authority from the Energy Regulatory Commission for a firm ancillary services procurement agreement with the NGCP,” the company said.
Earnings before interest tax depreciation and amortization stood at P4.1 billion.
