ACEN Corp. is set to decide on new investments in renewable energy projects abroad in six to nine months, according to Patrice Clausse, ACEN International chief executive officer.
In a recent briefing, Clausse said projects that will soon reach final investment decisions are either with existing business partners or those pursued solely by ACEN.
However, Clausse said the company is open to the possibility of pursuing projects with new partners.
ACEN has operations in Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Lao PDR and the United States.
ACEN’s latest overseas project was announced last month, which will be pursued through ACEN Renewables International Pte. Ltd. involving a 600 megawatts (MW) wind power project with a project cost close to $1 billion in Lao PDR. – Jed Macapagal
