Aboitiz Construction is undertaking the Phase 4 expansion of the LIMA Estate spanning 100 hectares, and the construction of a flyover inside the estate in Batangas.
The project, begun in the first half of 2025, will complete site development within 16 months, and the flyover construction within 18 months, Aboitiz Construction, which has been keeping the project cost confidential, said in a statement on Monday, August 4.
The company said the project will hire 195 workers, majority of whom will be from Batangas.
To date, the company said it has developed a total of 217.5 hectares out of the 949 hectares within the LIMA Estate through various land development projects.
The Aboitiz Construction and LIMA Estate are part of the Aboitiz Group.
The construction firm previously completed land development for the Meadow Village, one of the components within the Aboitiz Land’s The Villages at LIMA Estate, which is contiguous to the 70-hectare Biz Hub at the LIMA Estate, Batangas’ first master-planned business district.
Aboitiz Construction is also leading the design and construction of a food manufacturing facility for Big E Food Corporation, the maker of Lemon Square pastries. The project includes a production plant, an operations and maintenance building, and other ancillary structures. The entire development is slated for completion within 2025—another significant milestone under the light industry segment.
Ramez Sidhom, chief operating officer of Aboitiz Construction, said the 4th expansion will support not just business growth but will also create more opportunities for local communities.
