About 80,000 technology jobs in Asia are available for Filipinos in a virtual career fair hosted by JobStreet and Tech in Asia on March 9 to 11.
Over 2,000 of these are offered by more than 200 local companies such as Globe, ePLDT, BDO Unibank, Cognizant, ING Bank, SM Supermalls, among others and will be joined by companies in the region like Lazada, Shopee, TikTok, Dell, IBM among others.
A total of 900 hirers from Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines will participate.
Positions available are IT helpdesk, IT developer, IP network engineer, Java developer among others.
Philip Gioca, JobStreet Philippines country manager, said the need for companies to undertake digital transformation has pushed recruitment of digital natives, digital transformators and tech savvy individuals particularly in Asia.
This digital shift has birthed more career opportunities in IT Development, JAVA, Cloud, and SQL to name a few.
