20K gov’t jobs up for grabs at portal

Some 120 government agencies are tapping technology employment portal Jobstreet by SEEK to fill in over 20,000 of vacancies in various positions ranging from administrative aides to nurses and auditors and engineers.

Targeting the locked down generation or fresh graduates who were the most heavily affected among jobseekers, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Jobstreet by SEEK have partnered anew to hold the third Government Online Career (GOC) fair ongoing until September 23 as a venue for candidates to consider a stable career in government.

Aileen Lizada, CSC commissioner, in a press conference yesterday some of the positions available do not require experience nor civil service eligibility with salary grade one, step one as the minimum entry level salary.

Over 20,000 available government jobs both on the JobStreet platform and on the GOC fair are up for grabs, comprised of various roles such as guidance counselor, administrative aide, revenue officer, engineer, planning officer, medical officer, nurse, etc.

Other vacancies for project development officer, accountant, auditor, executive assistant, and information technology officer, among others.

Some of the government agencies joining the fair are the Department of Health”‹, Department of Environment and Natural Resource”‹, Department of Social Welfare and Development , Bureau of Internal Revenue, Commission on Elections”‹, Development Bank of the Philippines “‹, Energy Regulatory Commission among others.

JobStreet and CSC will be offering 2,000 on the GOCF platform, and roughly 20,000 on the JSPH platform, open for fresh graduates nationwide. – Irma Isip
