Eight8Ate Holdings, nc. eyes the opening of 20 more stores of Wendy’s and Conti’s in the last quarter of the year, according to Joey Garcia, president and chief executive officer of Eight8Ate.
Garcia told reporters at the Franchise Asia Conference in Pasay City last Monday the company will also introduce another food concept The Barn, a leveled-up Conti’s.
Garcia said Eight8Ate is adding 12 more Wendy’s this year ending the year with 80 plus stores from 70 at present. Eight8Ate is adding another 8 to 10 stores for Conti’s.
According to Garcia, majority of the expansion will be in first and second tier cities in provincial locations and only a few are in the National Capital Region.
Aside from Wendy’s and Conti’s, Eight8Ate also operates Better Coffee, a food concept developed by the company.
Garcia said Eight8Ate will launch The Barn, the first branch of which will open in Clark before December. He said the concept is inspired by the old barn houses in Clark which have since been abandoned and converted as commercial spaces.
