COMPETITION is expected to ensue following the accreditation of 14 transport network companies (TNCs), according to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
The LTFRB said in a statement it has also released new transport network vehicle service slots to support the expanding ride-hailing market.
The 14 bring the total TNCs to 19 from the current pool of five that includes Joyride E-Commerce, Cloud Panda PH Inc., E-Pick Me Up Inc., Hirna Mobility Solutions Inc and Grab.
The newly-accredited TNCs are PureRide Corp., UNLA LA Corp., Leggo Information Technology Solutions, Aztech Solution International Corp., Metrohills Transport Association Inc., Hail Transport Inc., Angkas Technologies, GoCab Corp., Unified Transport Operations League Corp., Peek Up Philippines Corp., Get Express Global Corp., Para Xpress Technology Services Inc., Taxsee Philippines Inc. and RL Soft Corp.
The statement did not provide details.
