Kurt Edwards, director-general of the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), conducted a facility visit of INAEC Aviation Corp. (INAEC) on October 18.
The International Business Aviation Council or IBAC, a non-profit international trade association with an observer status in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), represents the interests of business aviation worldwide. INAEC is the only Filipino air operator with a Stage 3 ISBAO Certification, the highest certification given to operators whose safety management activities are fully integrated into their business operations.
“I have always highlighted INAEC’s Stage 3 Certification achievement in the Philippines during my talks here.
Having witnessed their operations up close, I am even more convinced of their genuine dedication to safety, as an air operator and ground-handler. INAEC exemplifies a deep commitment to integrating world-class safety standards into its practices,” Edwards said.
“ISBAO and ISBAH helped us improve our safety policies and procedures. Safety is not just a policy, but a core value for us. Our aim is to ensure that everyone – our people, clients, and passengers – returns home safely to their families. We are honored by Mr. Edwards’s visit and his recognition of the progress we’ve made,” said Dexter Ampong, general manager of INAEC.
ISBAO, or the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations, is a set of standards on the best international safety practices among business aviation operators. On the other hand, ISBAH, or the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handlers, provides the standard international best practices for business and general aviation ground handling service providers.
