Six senior executives from top Filipino conglomerates are now in Sweden as part of the first cohort of the Swedish Institute’s Global Executive Programme (GEP) on Sustainability.
The program, running from May to November, includes online sessions and a one-week onsite module in Sweden. It brings together 100 top business leaders worldwide to learn about the best corporate practices in sustainability from Swedish experts.
The program’s focus on sustainability aligns with the global shift towards greener and more responsible business practices, making it a crucial platform for the Philippines to showcase its commitment to sustainable development.
The Filipino executives in the program are: Ginggay Hontiveros-Malvar, Aboitiz Group FVP and chief reputation and sustainability officer; Maita Villanueva, Aboitiz InfraCapital head for Transformation and Strategy; Abby Bonita, SM Prime Holdings AVP for Sustainability; Stephanie Orlino, PLDT & Smart AVP and head of Stakeholder Management; Jesse Divinagracia, Jr., Prime Asset Ventures Corporate Planning head and; Silvestre Yraola III, Cebu Pacific Air manager for Corporate Sustainability.
