Zamora, Bitanga acquire tech security company

Businessmen Salvador Zamora and Benjamin Bitanga have acquired 5G Security Inc. (5GS),  a fast-growing, technology-driven security solutions provider operating all over the Philippines for a transaction value of P850 million.

Zamora and Bitanga and Menlo Capital Corp. acquired 5GS from Group 4 Securitas International B.V. and other shareholders last year.

“We are committed to fulfilling the vision of 5GS to become the leading security solutions provider in the country,” Zamora said in a statement.

The company, operating since 1998, ensures excellent and cost-effective manned security, system, cyber, and risk management services for its clients with the highest scale of expertise from innovative security personnel.

5GS is at the forefront of providing a broad range of quality security solutions such as skilled manned security, innovative cybersecurity systems, comprehensive risk assessment and cutting-edge security training.

5GS work in collaboration with its licensee companies, namely: Personal Security Systems Inc. (PSSI), Vallum Security Services Corp. (VSSC), Catena Security Inc. (CSI), Attina Security Services Inc. (ASSI), 5th Generation Protective and Detective Agency Inc. (5GPDA) and 5G Security Training Academy Inc. (5GSTAI).

The company has over 3,000 employees.
