Damage to agriculture caused by the combined effects of tropical cyclones Crising, Dante and Emong, along with the southwest monsoon, is now estimated at P454.12 million, official data showed on Thursday.
The Department of Agriculture’s (DA) Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Operations Center said in a 10 am advisory the total cost of damage is gathered from 20,959 affected farmers in 20,413 hectares (ha) of affected areas, involving 13,376 metric tons (MT) of volume loss.
