MEGAWORLD Corp. said Kevin Andrew Tan, chief strategy officer, is now part of the company’s board of directors vice his mother Katherine Tan.
The younger Tan has also been appointed as the company’s executive director.
The appointment comes after Tan was appointed president of Alliance Global Group, the listed umbrella company of the Tan Group of Companies in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), in June.
Prior to his appointment as a member of the board, Ta was also Megaworld’s senior vice president for commercial division, which markets and operates the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls. He was also the chief executive officer of Megaworld’s real estate investment trust) unit, MREIT Inc.; chairman of Travellers International Hotel Group Inc.; and chairman of Alliance Global — Infracorp Development, Inc.
Tan obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Major in Management from the University of Asia and the Pacific.
