San Miguel Brewery Inc. is set to break ground next week on its new, one-million hectoliter production facility in Barangay Gua-an Leganes, Iloilo.
Construction is expected run for two years.
Once operational, this facility will complement San Miguel Brewery’s two other breweries in the Visayas built in Mandaue and Bacolod in 1968 and 1990, respectively.

The Iloilo facility is part of San Miguel’s ongoing capacity expansion program, first announced in 2017.
San Miguel Brewery is set to complete a new brewery in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental and convert its existing Santa Rosa, Laguna bottling facility into a full-fledged brewery. The company is also developing a more efficient distribution system.
