Seaoil Philippines Inc. remains confident it can complete its expansion plans for the year.
Glenn Yu, Seaoil chief executive officer, said the company will be on track to end the year to have 600 retail stations by the end of the year.
Seaoil opened its 500th station this month on Meralco avenue in Pasig City.
This year, the company also opened new stations in Quezon City, Batangas, Mindoro, Pampanga, Cabanatuan, Abra, Compostela Valley, Iloilo, Aklan, Cotabato and Davao.
Yu said with the opening of more stations, Seaoil aims to generate local jobs, provide business for new franchise partners and offer specialized promotions to serve the communities they operate in.
The company earmarked P10 million for free fuel and discounts to support frontliners from hospitals, local government units and transport groups.
Seaoil has a market share of 4.82 percent in the oil industry.
