ROBINSONS Land Corp. (RLC) said unit Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR) is looking at a P10- billion investment covering 990 room keys for its portfolio, spread out over the next few years.
“This strategic investment includes the launch of ultra-luxury hotel Nustar in Cebu, the lifestyle brand Grand Summit in key locations such as Cebu and Pangasinan, and the highly anticipated Fili, the first and only Filipino-owned five-star hotel brand, in Bridgetowne, Metro Manila,” the company told regulators.
The investments “will not only solidify Robinsons Hotels and Resorts’ position as a leader in the hospitality sector but also elevate its standing among globally recognized brands catering to a wide range of market segments,” RLC added.
“The P10 billion investment is poised to drive long-term growth, enhance guest experiences, and position RHR as a key player in the country’s thriving tourism and real estate sectors,” it said.
Two Grand Summit Hotels and Resorts will open in Cebu and Pangasinan. The upcoming Fili Hotel in Bridgetowne, Metro Manila, will rise alongside the Opus Mall and the iconic Victor statue.
“With 30 properties in 20 cities and municipalities nationwide, RHR remains the largest and most diversified hotel group in the Philippines,” the company said.
