A total of P800,000 worth of illegally refilled Solane cylinders were confiscated in Isabela, Greater Manila Area and in Cebu, according to Isla LPG, owner of the Solane brand of liquefied petroleum gas.
The company said more than 200 Solane cylinders that were either emptied or repainted for illegal refill were retrieved in raids.
More than a hundred were from Metro Manila, particularly the cities of Taguig, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Rizal, and Paranaque combined; 96 were from Iligan and Santiago cities in Isabela, 42 in Laguna and 47 in Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu and Cebu City.

Isla LPG said illegal refilling and distribution of LPGs can be dangerous being a fire hazard.
