Puregold Price Club Inc. said profit for the first nine months of the year reached P5.05 billion, up 10.9 percent from P4.55 billion last year.
Net sales reached P121.14 billion, up 10.1 percent from P110.3 billion. Te company said 75 percent of topline is attributed to Puregold Stores network and the rest from S&R Membership warehouse clubs and S&R New York Style Pizza stores.
Same store sales growth (SSSG) was at 4.5 percent for Puregold while S&R posted a SSSG of 6.4 percent.
“We are confident that our company will achieve another record year in terms of net profits for the full year 2020 despite the challenges brought about by Covid-19.” said Lucio Co, Puregold chairman.
As of end September 2020, Puregold group has a total of 455 stores nationwide. These include 393 Puregold stores, 20 S&R membership shopping warehouse, and 42 S&R New York Style QSR.
