PLDT Inc. is looking into collaboration with US-based multinational solution provider, Radisys Corp., a subsidiary of Jio Platforms Ltd., to launch cutting-edge digital services for Filipinos.
In a disclosure to the stock exchange, PLDT said the company is in advanced talks with Radisys to explore building and launching cutting-edge digital experiences for Filipinos.
Radisys designs, industrializes and deploys a range of cutting-edge networking, communications, devices, and digital engagement platforms in India and globally.
Radisys offers an end-to-end solutions portfolio from digital endpoints, to disaggregated and open access and core solutions, to immersive digital applications and engagement platforms.
“As part of PLDT’s purpose to inspire innovation and our mission to deliver meaningful connections for all our customers, we look forward to closely working with Radisys to help us usher in more immersive and exciting digital experiences for tech-savvy Filipinos as we look into the future,” said PLDT and Smart President and CEO Alfredo Panlilio.

In a related development, ePLDT, the ICT subsidiary of the PLDT Group, has obtained the internationally recognized ISO 27001:2013 for Information Security Management System (ISMS) standards for cybersecurity operations. This marks ePLDT’s second ISO 27001:2013 certification following its accolade for its data center and cloud services.
The certification further solidifies ePLDT’s commitment to providing a secure digital transformation for its customers by ensuring that their sensitive and critical data are protected and maintained with utmost confidentiality and integrity.
