The Philippines recorded a trade deficit of $3.95 billion in June 2025, down 8.8 percent from a year earlier, preliminary data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) showed.
Total trade in goods rose 16.3 percent year-on-year to $18 billion, reversing the 11.1 percent contraction in June 2024 and improving from the 5 percent growth posted in May 2025.
Imports made up 61 percent of the total trade, while exports accounted for the remaining 39 percent.
