Parañaque Express Lingkod Office opens
Parañaque City LGU, in partnership with Ayala Malls, has recently launched its ambitious joint project – the first-ever Express Lingkod Office (ELO) Serbisyo Center in Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
Located at the fourth floor of the mall, the one-stop-shop service center is the first of its kind in the country, bringing under one roof both personal and business frontline services of the Parañaque City Government.
The ELO Serbisyo Center provides a full range of government-related services within reach of any transacting individual or business entity in one accessible and convenient location.
Parañaque residents can now conveniently process their COVID-19 vaccination and certificate, senior citizen cards and booklet, police clearance, traffic-related violations settlement, health certificates, birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, and many more.
The hub makes it easier for enterprises to process their business registration, business permits, building permits, mayor’s permits, real property taxes, and community taxes, among others.
AIM online MBA program
The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) has launched a new Online Master in Business Administration (MBA) program.
The 35-unit post-graduate program has the same curriculum and line-up of subjects as those in its full-time MBA program, but without the electives.
The Online MBA is conducted through synchronous classes to ensure a collaborative learning experience and interaction among its diverse student body. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday night, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Students have 18 months to complete the AIM Online MBA program, including a capstone project.

Pfizer meds delivered via drone
Pfizer partnered with a number of agencies and organizations to launch a project that would see crucial medicines and vaccines easily delivered by drone to an isolated rural Mindanao community in the town of San Luis, Agusan del Sur.
The partnership also includes Geneva-based nonprofit drone organization WeRobotics, innovation solutions company Philippine Flying Labs, and the provincial government of Agusan del Sur in Mindanao.
The initial pilot run saw drone pilots, with at least 1,000 hours of drone training and flying experience, make deliveries of maintenance medicines, COVID-19 vaccines, medical equipment such as needles and syringes, and water samples for testing to the community of Kilometer 55, Barangay Binicalan in San Luis.
After the completion of the pilot run, Pfizer hopes to continue developing the project through the establishment of partnerships with organizations to potentially take the project to other isolated communities around the Philippines.
Pilmico’s roadshow goes nationwide
