Peugeot lines up plans for ’24

Peugeot Philippines held its annual business meeting on February 7 at Fairmont Makati , unveiling its plans and targets for 2024. 

The meeting highlighted strategic initiatives in sales, marketing, and aftersales programs.

Isuzu Makati named dealer of the year 

Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) celebrated the outstanding achievements of its nationwide dealer network during its prestigious Dealer of the Year Awards, held on February 9. 

The annual event, which acknowledges exceptional performance across its network, saw Isuzu Makati clinching the coveted Dealer of the Year Award for the second consecutive year, highlighting its sustained excellence in 2023 following its previous win in 2022.

IPC president Tetsuya Fujita expressed his gratitude towards the dealer network for their remarkable contributions, particularly emphasizing their role in maintaining Isuzu’s leadership in the truck segment for 25 consecutive years. 

Fujita also posed a challenge to the network to bolster its light commercial vehicle business and to continue creating innovative business solutions for its customers across the country.

Isuzu Makati emerged at the forefront of this year’s awards, demonstrating unparalleled performance and customer loyalty, with Isuzu Subic and Isuzu Cagayan De Oro securing the second and third place respectively. 

Isuzu Subic won the Sales Operations Category followed by Isuzu Makati and then Isuzu Alabang. Isuzu Bulacan took the top spots for Parts Operations Category, followed by Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Cagayan De Oro. For Service Operations Category, Isuzu Sta. Rosa won the first place, followed by Isuzu Calapan and Isuzu Cagayan De Oro respectively.

FedEx Express Ph at Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

FedEx Express is  participating in the upcoming 24th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta this coming February 16 to 18 at the New Clark City in Tarlac.

As the official logistics provider of the event, FedEx Express, through their reliable global network, successfully delivered 17 colorful and iconic hot air balloons from the United States of America, Austria, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.

FedEx Express Philippines has also invited some of its customers to join the festivities which include a skydiving exhibition, helicopter demo, tandem paragliding, and kite flying just to name a few.

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, FedEx Express Philippines has devoted its efforts to drive social initiatives and support community development that address key challenges in society. `Visionaries’ honored with  Silver Anvil

 PLDT Enterprise was honored with a Silver Anvil Award under the PR Programs — Marketing and Brand Communication Category, for the excellent work in its 2023 public relations and marketing campaign, “Visionaries.” 

PLDT Enterprise launched the Visionaries campaign last year to introduce visionary leaders who, aided by their grit and gift to see the future clearly along with the assistance of PLDT Enterprise, managed to translate their dreams into real business success stories.  

Visionaries gathered an ensemble of business leaders who dared and made a change by facing tough challenges head-on, focusing on the solution while prioritizing people and products over profits.

The campaign successfully resonated with a diverse target audience, encompassing small- and medium-sized enterprises, large domestic corporations, global carriers, and local government units. Best payment solution

Security Bank Corp. SECB)  announced its win for “Best Payment Solution in the Philippines” for its Billing/Invoice Presentment and Payment System (BIPPS) by Alpha Southeast Asia at the 17th Annual Best Deal and Solution Awards 2023 held on January 31 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event celebrated outstanding achievements and innovations in the finance sector.

After a week-long intensive review of more than 70 bank submissions encompassing over 150 deals and solutions from commercial and investment banks across Southeast Asian, Security Bank’s BIPPS emerged as a stand-out. Its ground-breaking approach to streamlining billing processes and enhancing the payment experience for both businesses and consumers earned well-deserved recognition.

“Security Bank not only introduced a straight-through settlement solution that encompasses both online and the traditional over-the-counter bills payment options for customers but [also for] new merchants [to] can be easily integrated in a short period of time and with no major system development/reprogramming requirement. In a nutshell, this is a multi-faceted solution meant for overall ease of payment, tracking, and reporting to create ease for all parties involved,” said Alpha Southeast Asia.

BIPPS, an innovative settlement facility within Security Bank’s award-winning DigiBanker app, has redefined payment solutions by delivering a seamless end-to-end order-payment settlement process. Merchants can effortlessly post billings and invoices, while customers have the convenience to log in and choose the bill to pay, along with their preferred payment method.

Sari Fund for micro retailers

Packworks, a Filipino startup offering a business-to-business (B2B) fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) marketplace for sari-sari stores, and Cebuana Lhuillier’s Kanegosyo Center have teamed up to launch Sari Fund, an inventory financing service aimed at providing support to sari-sari stores nationwide.

Sari Fund empowers sari-sari store owners with the financial freedom to stock up on their inventory to boost the growth of their business. 

Through Packworks’ Sari.PH app, Kanegosyo Center will provide eligible users with an exclusive credit line that they can use to purchase inventory from partner megastores. To make the service affordable, eligible sari-sari store owners only pay a minimal transaction fee so they can focus on growing their business.

With Sari Fund, micro-retail stores are able to stock inventory without the immediate burden of upfront costs, allowing them to maintain a robust array of items catering to the needs of their communities while also enabling them to grow and stabilize their businesses.

Leveraging technology to provide easy, simple, and affordable credit lines, the strategic partnership between Packworks and Cebuana Lhuiller’s Kanegosyo Center aims to overcome the traditional barriers in empowering the unbanked and underbanked sectors through the innovative inventory financing program.
