Maxus Philippines sees its newly-launched multipurpose vehicle (MPV) as well as its pick-up model, will account for 25 percent of the brand’s sales in the Philippines, its president Felipe Estrella said.

Felipe said the T60 pickup and the G50 MPV will serve trailblazers for the brand particularly for Metro Manila.

Estrella said although the remaining months of the year leave a big question mark due to the pandemic pans, Maxus is “quite optimistic once volatility passes and things normalize we can look forward to better days.”

He said the launch of G50 held virtually yesterday is part of Maxus’ strategy to “get ahead of the curve and make it available now” for those who need a vehicle and for those planning to get one.

“There are still headwinds but we are optimistic and looking forward to the future,” Estrella added.

The G50 is the fourth of the Maxus models in the Philippines and expands the lineup to cover specific price points and market range.

Features-rich at affordable price point, the G50 eight-seater compact MPV is ideal for daily transport, business or delivery or leisure ride.
