PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday has named former Supreme Court associate justice Andres Bernal Reyes Jr. as chairman of the Independent Commission on Infrastructure (ICI).
The commission is tasked to investigate suspected anomalous infrastructure projects in the country over the past 10 years, starting with flood control projects.
Reyes served as a member of the Supreme Court from 2017 to 2020. He was appointed by former President Rodrigo Duterte.
He joins former Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson and SGV country managing partner Rossana Fajardo at the ICI. Baguio City Mayor Magalong will serve as special adviser.
