Yokowo Co. Ltd. has chosen the Philippines as the site of a new subsidiary for automotive wiring harness and components manufacturing and assembly operations.
Yokowo will infuse P 230 million ina 3.7-hectare facility in Hermoso Ecozone Industrial Park in Bataan and will require a labor force of 800 workers.
The facility is set to break ground in January 2022 and will commence operations in April of the same year.

The Philippine venture will support Yokowo’s in-vehicle communication equipment business which accounts for about 60 percent of the Group’s consolidated sales and forms part of its regional strategy for supply chain stratification.
