Haus Talk Inc. said it grew its profit last year by 23 percent to P242.6 million from P138.1 million.
Revenues rose 58 percent, though the company failed to provide a comparative figure for the claim.
“This significant leap underscores the company’s expansion and strategic initiatives undertaken over the past year,” it said in a statement.
The company also said growth was also due to “prudent investments and the successful execution of various projects initiated two years ago.”
Francis Madlambayan, Haus Talk head of corporate planning, said the company’s economic housing project in Binan Laguna, The Granary, was pivotal in driving the impressive financial results.
“The Granary integrates fine townhome features and community master- planning within affordable housing schemes. It’s a Haus Talk formula that has had great success in Antipolo and other parts of Laguna,” he said.
“With the numbers exhibiting positive returns not only for HTI and especially our shareholders, we are even more confident now to launch projects in other locations where housing is needed by the market,” Madlambayan added.
Madlambayan said HTI also stands to benefit from Board of Investments incentives, including an income tax holiday for the second phase of The Granary development.
