Golden Haven Memorial Park said its properties have registered an annual appreciation of at least 20 percent.
It said memorial lots at its 15-hectare property in Las Piñas has gone up to P378,000, a staggering 2,240 percent increase or 67 percent increase per annum from P5,000 when it opened in 1984. Golden Haven Cebu, memorial lots jumped 828 percent or 46 percent per annum from P25,000 in 2005 to P232,000 today.
Golden Haven Memorial Park in Cagayan de Oro recorded a 170-percent increase to P89,000 from P33,000 in 2007.
Golden Haven now has 30 sites across the country, offering memorial lots for low-risk and safe investments.
According to Golden Haven, with price increases temporarily halted, many developers are now offering incredibly flexible terms and even substantial discounts to prospective property seekers.
