The eGovPH Super App now includes a feature that allows online access to academic records including diplomas and transcripts, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced on Friday during the launching of the Electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (eCAV) System in Pasay City.
The eCav is designed to simplify the process of securing digital copies of documents required for employment.
“Sa pamamagitan ng eGovPH Super App, maaari nang makakuha [ang] estudyante o bagong graduate ng academic credential para sa kanilang job application,” Marcos said.
(Through the eGovPH Super App, students or new graduates can now get their academic credentials for job applications.)
The eCav requires payment for tracking requests in real time and receiving digital copies of academic certificates via email or the app.
Under the First Time Jobseekers Assistance Act (RA 11261), first time applicants are exempt from the eCav fee by presenting a barangay certification. — Marlon Magtira
