The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) is expanding its Digital Information for Monitoring and Evaluation (DIME) project to enlist more agencies and enhance online oversight of government infrastructure, the DBM secretary said.

Project DIME is a flagship DBM platform that tracks government projects by publishing data on status, completion rates, funding sources, and contractors.

The site, dime.gov.ph, also allows the public to submit feedback in English or Filipino.

Among those being tapped to extend assistance are the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman told a Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing on Monday.

Earlier this year, the DBM partnered with the University of the Philippines’ Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards (UP-NOAH) to integrate disaster risk reduction measures and ensure infrastructure resilience to natural hazards.

Pangandaman said the initiative aims to strengthen transparency and citizen participation through technology.

“We will continue to collaborate with other agencies to make sure that our Project DIME will be successful,” she said.
