The Health group of the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) proposed  closer collaboration between the government and private sector to improve the country’s healthcare system.

President  Marcos accepted the recommendations after PSAC led by Aboitiz Group president and chief executive officer (CEO) Sabin Aboitiz endorsed the work plan on August 11.

“Strengthening public-private partnerships  will start addressing the most pressing health issues of Filipinos in the first 100 days of the (Marcos) administration,” PSAC said in a statement.
