The Coast Guard Human Resource Management Command (CGHRMC) was awarded Compliant Status under the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA)
During a public revalida last September 30, CGHRMC complied with ISA’s Performance Governance System (PGS) and earned the prestigious Silver Trailblazer Award for its transformative efforts in protecting those who defend our shores.
The Public Revalida is a democratic exercise that validates a public institution’s completion of the four stages of the PGS. Enrolled institutions include the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Department of Health, among others.
CGHRMC embarked on its governance journey through the PGS in 2023, earning the Initiated Status and a Silver Trailblazer Award. Driven by its mission to become an internationally certified strategic HR Management Command, CGHRMC improved its recruitment process through its Recruitment Online Application Platform. This innovation has resulted in a 125 percent increase in the number of applicants. Personal strength has grown from 30,930 in 2023 to 34,430 by the end of the year.
