St. Luke’s Medical Center is introducing the da Vinci Xi robotic system at its Quezon City facility.
This follows its successful launch at the Global City branch.
The da Vinci Xi robotic system is equipped with sophisticated features and user-friendly controls that empower surgeons to execute complex procedures with improved precision and efficiency. This leads to shorter recuperation periods, fewer complications, and superior patient clinical outcomes. With its capacity to conduct minimally invasive procedures across a range of specialties, including urology, gynecology, and general surgery, the da Vinci Xi bolsters St. Luke’s ability to provide personalized, patient-focused care designed to meet individual requirements.

SeaBank nets P110.68M
SeaBank Philippines Inc. reached a landmark achievement as it recorded a net income of P110.7 million in the first quarter of 2024, achieving an impressive 252 percent turnaround compared to the same period last year.
This marks the company’s first profitable quarter since launching its app in June 2022.
SeaBank attributes this profitability to doubling its loan portfolio, growing to P13 billion, a 127- percent increase over the previous year, and deposits expansion, significantly rising to P20.23 billion, a 75 percent growth year on year.
SeaBank plans to release the SeaBank Debit Card, an industry-first daily cashback debit card promising rewarding experiences for customers. Apart from this, Seabank offers fixed interest rate loans at 2.95 percent per month, supplementing its competitive interest rates of up to 4.5 percent per annum, and 15 free transfers weekly.
Photo exhibit for a cause

Harvard Business School alumni and notable business leaders in the Philippines ambassador Jose E.B. Antonio of Century Properties Group, Dr. Tony Tan Caktiong of Jollibee Food Corp., and William Chua Co Kiong of Wills International Sales Corp. joined forces in a photo exhibition for a charitable cause which formally opened on May 3 at the Antonio Gallery in Century City Mall, Makati City.
Organized by the Owner/President Management (OPM) Program of Harvard Business School Philippine Chapter Alumni Association Inc. Led by its president William Chua Co Kiong, the exhibit titled “A World Through A Lens,” features 51 exclusive photographs depicting scenes from all over the world as seen through the eyes of the three successful entrepreneurs who all share the same love and passion for photography. Proceeds of the sale during the opening of the exhibit will be used for the various charitable activities of the club.
“A World Through A Lens” shows the photographic journeys of these three business leaders. From the scenic landscapes of China to the majestic Grand Canyon and the pristine expanses of Antarctica, the exhibit offers a glimpse into the world through the lenses of these esteemed individuals.
The event, hosted by Aziza Mondoñedo, was attended by over a hundred guests including Harvard OPM Philippines alumni, supporters, as well as family and friends of the exhibitors. The exhibit will remain open to the public until June 3.
