Herco, Snap On to launch Bahco chainsaw file

Snap On Inc., a hand tools company founded in 1920 in Milwaukee, USA and its Philippine distributor, Herco Trading Inc., a leading hardware distribution company with over 100 years of experience, will jointly re-launch the Bahco branded chain saw files in the market shortly.

Wilfred Co, president of Herco Trading, said “with the weakening of the El Niño weather phenomenon and the expected development of La Niña which will bring heavy rains and typhoons to our country, there will be a marked increase in the use of chainsaws. The Bahco chainsaw file is an indispensable tool for keeping chainsaws sharp and ready for any emergencies.”

Herco Trading is the local distributor of Snap On’s most popular product in the Philippines: the Bahco Sandflex Bi-metal hand hacksaw blade with the famous “fish & hook” mark that has an annual demand of millions of pieces.

TOYOTA Financial Services Philippines (TFSPH) has once again solidified its position as a leader in innovation and efficiency by clinching the top spot in the Annual Global Kaizen Event of Toyota Sales Finance Companies around the world. TFSPH emerged victorious in both the Regional TWoW! Competition for the Asia Pacific Region and the prestigious People’s Choice Award.

The journey to this remarkable achievement began last January when TFSPH’s groundbreaking project, “Click & Send,” was selected as the official entry for the FY2024 Regional TWoW! Competition. The project, themed “Reaching Customers Fast and Easy,” revolutionized customer communication by leveraging existing digital platforms, eliminating manual processes, and accelerating information delivery to clients.

TFSPH’s “Click & Send” project stood out, showcasing its ability to enhance customer satisfaction, streamline operations, reduce costs, and promote sustainable practices by going paperless.

Following its victory in the regional competition, TFSPH represented the Asia Pacific Region in the 21st Annual Global Kaizen Event (GKE), held last April. This event, which marked 21 years of celebrating Kaizen efforts worldwide, provided a platform for TFSPH to showcase its innovative project on the global stage.

During the Virtual GKE, TFSPH presented its project alongside other regional winners, garnering attention and accolades from a global audience. Among the highlights of the event was the People’s Choice Award, determined by votes from employees of Toyota Sales Finance Companies worldwide. TFSPH emerged as the winner, clinching the People’s Choice Award.
