Concentrix unveils new brand
Concentrix , a global technology and services leader, launched its new brand positioning and became the first in the customer experience (CX) industry to host a drone show in the country.
The show took place in what is considered the country’s biggest employee-focused multi-event series in which the company invests hundreds of millions of pesos each year, the Concentrix Family Day. Sunday’s #OneFAMNation Musicfest was one of 11 location-based events nationwide.

Travellers Int’l appoints new leaders
Travellers International Hotel Group (TIHGI), owner and operator of Newport World Resorts (NWR), has appointed Nilo Thaddeus Rodriguez as president and chief executive officer, and Lance Gautreaux as chief operating officer effective June 1, 2024.
The appointments conclude the year-long transition plan for TIHGI since its holding company, Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI), assumed full ownership on May 30, 2023.
Rodriguez has been with NWR since August 2022 as chief strategy officer.
Gautreaux joined the company in 2023, as chief casino officer, with an extensive background in gaming and hospitality across multiple international jurisdictions
Former president and CEO Kingson Sian officially retired from the company after being at the helm of TIHGI since it started 16 years ago as the country’s first integrated resort developer.
Also leaving their posts effective June 1 are Hakan Dagtas and Bernard Than, former COO and chief financial officer, respectively, who were both part of AGI’s former venture partner in the company.
N. Ecija farmers get boost from digital agri, MSME programs
PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications Inc. participated in the Farmers Congress held recently in Talavera, Nueva Ecija, where nearly a thousand farmers learned about various programs and innovations they could utilize to improve their harvest and increase their income.
Among the programs featured at the event were PLDT and Smart’s award-winning livelihood programs, Digital Farmers Program (DFP) and eBizNovation, which help usher farmers and micro-, small-, and medium-sized entrepreneurs (MSMEs) into the digital economy by providing access to technology and upskilling trainings.
DFP is a collaboration with the Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI); while eBizNovation helps turn MSMEs into online merchants in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture, local chambers of commerce, and various e-commerce platforms.
Vertiv opens new Ph office, customer experience center
Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, recently formally opened its new offices in Manila as part of its expansion and continuous investment in the country.
Boasting modern amenities and a “glocal” environment, the new Manila site will house more than 1,200 people that make up the company’s local workforce, supporting Vertiv’s local, regional and global operations.
Located at the SM Mega Tower building in Mandaluyong City, the Vertiv offices span over 8,000 square feet across four floors and feature modern amenities, including flexible workspaces, focus areas and wellness rooms, as well as an open office concept.
Vertiv also officially opened the doors to its modern Customer Experience Center (CEC) and the Vertiv Academy, also located within the SM Mega Tower.
