GCash  at DTI’s MSME Summit 2024

GCash took part at the recent National MSME Summit 2024, organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in partnership with Go Negosyo. 

The event, themed “Innovate to Elevate MSMEs,” drew in entrepreneurs seeking the mentorship and expertise of leaders in the business and digital finance space–including GCash’s general manager for B2B Jong Layug.

Digido integrates QR Ph thru partnership with Dragonpay

Digital lending service Digido announced the integration of QR Ph – part of its bolstered partnership with online payment gateway Dragonpay.

The integration enables Digido clients to use a QR Ph code for cash loan payments and quickly repay their outstanding loans by scanning or uploading a static or reusable QR Ph code through a wide range of electronic wallets or banking apps. This facilitates open banking and financial inclusion, ensuring seamless and stress-free transactions within minutes.

Digido clients can monitor the Repayment section of the platform’s official website as well as its official Facebook and Instagram pages for step-by-step procedures on using QR Ph as a loan repayment option.

P5M donation to Carina-affected Ka-pandas

Delivery service provider foodpanda logistics donated P5 million worth of food and essentials to Ka-pandas affected by typhoon “Carina.” 

This aid, part of the Panda Pag-asa program, aims to benefit around 10,000 of their Ka-panda delivery partners in severely affected areas such as Metro Manila, Cainta, South Metro Manila, Baguio, and Bulacan. 

As part of the initiative, their pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels, originally used to serve as a rider support hub, will roam through these target cities, distributing essential relief items such as water, rice and canned goods. 

Shopee Bayanihan mobilizes aid for Typhoon Carina victims

Shopee has mobilized relief support to deliver aid to residents affected by typhoon Carina in partnership with various humanitarian organizations through its disaster relief program Shopee Bayanihan. 

Until August 7, Shopee users can extend their help to the victims by purchasing donation vouchers from Gawad Kalinga, GMA Kapuso Foundation, and UNICEF through the e-commerce platform.

Users can access e-vouchers for Typhoon Carina victims through the Shopee Bayanihan microsite.
