Palawan Group,  Metrobank expand partnership

Palawan Group of Companies, has expanded its collaboration with Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) to allow the bank’s biller partners to conveniently and efficiently access payments remitted to their Metrobank account through Palawan’s extensive branch network.

The two companies have a shared objective of helping Filipinos reach their goals. LausGroup expands Club Marriott & Nono’s Market

LausGroup of Companies recently partnered with Club Marriott of Clark Marriott and  held the grand opening of Nono’s. 

On May 21, LausGroup and Club Marriott signed a memorandum of agreement aimed at delivering exceptional customer service to its loyal client base. LausGroup chairman and CEO, Lisset Laus-Velasco said this marks the first time Club Marriott has partnered with an automotive company.

FOODPhilippines joins HK Food Expo

FOODPhilippines joins the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Food Expo PRO on August 15 to 17  at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

Organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the participation of seven food exhibitors from the Philippines will bring in fine-tasting, fresh, and healthy food options. The Philippine Pavilion, located at Hall 5C, booth E17, will house an array of fresh fruits including durian, cavendish banana, and pineapple.

The country pavilion will also feature seafood products across all categories such as mangrove crabs, fresh frozen cuttlefish, and dried seaweed, among others.

The seven food exhibitors that will join the business mission are Eng Seng Food Products, Hueza Bakery, Kangkong King, La Carlota Food Enterprise, the Municipal Government of Buguey, Raspina Tropical Fruits Incorporated, and Siargao’s Bounty Seafood Corporation.

Teleperformance supports Brigada Eskwela

Teleperformance (TP) in the Philippines successfully concluded its yearly support to the Brigada Eskwela 2024, an annual initiative of the Department of Education (DepEd) that mobilizes various sectors of society to help with and volunteer for the preparation of public school facilities for the new school year.

TP in the Philippines’ corporate social responsibility arm, Citizen of the World (COTW), held the event dubbed TP Dream Builder which brought together TP volunteers helped  clean up school grounds, re-paint classroom walls, and repair classroom furniture.

“As the last leg of activities concluded this weekend, we are proud to see a continued increase in volunteer hours each year. We’ve recorded a total of 1,500 volunteer-hours for this year’s Brigada Eskwela for on- location activities alone,” TP’s chief people officer and COTW chairperson Jeffrey Johnson.
