CHEVRON Philippines Inc. (CPI), marketer of the Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants in the Philippines has partnered with the Fort Bonifacio Development Corp. (FBDC) to open CPI’s flagship station in Taguig City.
The company said the station will be located on 32nd street, Crescent Park West District in BGC that will include a Caltex autoPro workshop and a range of features to provide electric vehicle charging facilities.
CPI said the construction of the station will also utilize environment-friendly materials, including paints and adhesives with low or zero volatile organic compound content, apart from harnessing solar panels and energy-efficient LED lights to help reduce overall energy consumption.
The company added the station will feature water conservation by using an innovative rainwater collection system and has dedicated bicycle racks and a premium customer lounge to pair with workshop services.
“We believe this opportunity to combine the complementary strengths of both CPI and FBDC will enable us to provide motorists with superior fuel and customer experience, especially those in highly urbanized commercial districts such as BGC,” said Billy Liu, CPI country chairman, in a statement.
Meanwhile, Alfie Reyes, FBDC chief operating officer, said that CPI’s station is expected to add “value” in BGC.
“We are delighted to finalize this partnership with Chevron Philippines. We are aligned in the vision of having a world-class service station that promotes friendly technologies along with traditional fuels. At BGC, we believe in innovation, sustainability and adaptability and we feel that the addition of a flagship Caltex station here adds significant value to the estate, our locators, and our motorists,” Reyes said. -Jed Macapagal
