THE Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) raised P20 billion from the scheduled Tbill auction Monday.
Coupon rates for the 91-, 182- and 364-day T-bills dropped in the latest round of government fund raising.
The BTr said it awarded the 91-day T-bills at a coupon rate of 5.444 percent compared to last weeks 5.414 percent coupon, while the 182-day T-bills fetched a coupon rate of 5.668 percent compared to last week’s 5.474 percent.
The one-year T-bills were awarded at a coupon rate of 5.623 percent compared to last week’s 5.54 percent.
Banks bid for P6.5 billion worth of 91-day and 182-day T-bills. Bids for the one-year T-bills amounted to P7 billion.
“The auction was 2.6 times oversubscribed, attracting P51.7 billion in total tenders,” the BTr said.
Bids for the 91 days reached P21.4 billion; the 182 da reached P11.9 billion in bids; and the 364-day reached P18.4 billion in bids.
