Outstanding loans by universal and commercial banks to businesses and consumers in June rose 12.1 percent to P13.553 trillion, net of reverse repurchase (RRP) loans, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said late Monday.
The rate of increase in June was faster than the 11.3 percent rise recorded in May, it said.
BSP data showed with RRP included, gross total bank lending reached P13.94 trillion in June.
