Ayala Foundation ‘social impact’ webinar

Ayala Foundation, the social development arm of the Ayala group, is hosting a webinar entitled “SROI 101: Understanding Social Impact” on May 14. This session serves as an introductory course on social return on investment (SROI), which can serve as a valuable tool in measuring the impact of our development initiatives.

SROI is a framework that helps measure social value. Because the impact of any social investment is not just monetary, SROI assigns a financial proxy to non-monetized, qualitative, and narrative information. This way, we get a fuller picture of our programs’ impact on a given community.

SROI looks at the return earned by social investment. The higher the return for every peso investment, the greater the social impact.

Serving as resource speaker is Dr. Jesusa  Rebete, who leads Ayala Foundation’s social governance team. “SROI 101: Understanding Social Impact” is free of charge, and is open to development workers, CSR practitioners, and others who are interested in community development.
