On April 5, Ambassador Endo Kazuya paid a courtesy call on Hon. Eduardo Año, national security adviser of the Philippines, to discuss Japan-Philippine bilateral relations.
During the meeting, Endo expressed his commitment to achieving a peaceful and stable region, not only through Japan-Philippines cooperation but also through trilateral collaboration with the U.S., referencing the Japan-U.S.-Philippines Trilateral Summit Meeting.
In response, Año warmly welcomed Endo and expressed his eagerness to share insights and closely cooperate in the increasingly vital field of security.
